Worth the install hassles
This handguard was extraordinarily difficult to install. The instructions on the Briley website were for a version of handguard that this is not and no instructions ship with the handguard. But after disassembling and reassembling it around the barrel and mag tube it looks great. I'm a little concerned with how well the mag tube nut will hold everything together but time will tell. This gets 5-stars for looks, m-lok slot availability, and being super lightweight - really its crazy light.

Best hand guard upgrade for the 1301 Tactical Semi-Auto Shotgun on the market
Pros:
- Looks better
- adds more mounting positions for handgaurds, lights, lasers, qd mounts etc.
Cons:
- adds more weight bit that also could be a good thing reducing the muzzle rise but definitely is heavier

- tactical accesories attachments

Turkanelli MAC 1014
I’ve got this rail on a Stoeger M3000, which was a huge upgrade and sadly one of the only aftermarket handguards for the the M3000. I recently got a MAC 1014 and had the Midwest industries M4 hand guard installed, but always preferred the feel of the Briley hand guard - with an advertised 99% parts compatibility with the MAC 1014 I took a gamble and got the full sized 13” rail Benelli M4 model. Installation went OK - the small piece that inserts to the factory for end retainer needed a bit of persuasion to seat fully in (20 mins in the oven and a few whacks with the rubber mallet). A good friend with an actual M4 said that it was difficult getting the same piece in on the actual M4. Once installed everything seems solid and ran a few rounds through making sure nothing on the rail walked forward, so far so good.

One of the best options for 1301 !
Nothing to complain. Just one of the best of options out there. You can just get it if you like the look. But, keep in mind that metal is cold :) , wrapping around a metal handguard of a 12GA with bare hand could be a bit unpleasant for someone. A nice glove would solve it easily.

This hand guard brings the gun up to the next level.
It allows me to have a more natural grip, and better point of aim.
it also covers the barrel and helps prevents burns during reloads
Its about the same weight as the original handguard, and is very grippy

A300 Complaint Model
The Briley Handguard is topnotch no doubt, superb engineering. But beware if you live in complaint requirement State. There's quite a bit of difference in the complaint model and the standard A300 Patrol model. A lot more than just how many rounds it holds. As of now, the handguard will not fit the complaint version.
