I bought this scope to top off a 1909 mauser scout build and picked this model for the posi lock internals because the rifle kicks pretty good with 220gr projectiles and a metal buttplate. Its not a gun thats gonna get shot to death but after about 80rds through it with the scope on it its held zero just fine, this little scope has good glass all the way through magnification, my only knit pick is during first and last light conditions the glass picks up light just fine but the way the reticle duplexes down my eyes loose it on a darker target like a deer and kinda makes me wish they had an illuminated option but again just me being picky. But all in all I really like this little scope so far.

This product is excellent, very surprised by the quality of the finish (silver). Cheaper scopes are out there but Burris is a trusted name.
Cons:
- pricey, but you get what you pay for

Initial setup was as expected. Sighted-in at 100 yards with a.6 MOA. 1 week later came back to sight-in different ammo and was not even on the paper. Adjustment turret do not seem to be consistent. There's a lot to like about the scope, especially the generous eye relief.
Pros:
- Eye relief and weight are exceptional
Cons:
- adjustment knobs have different consistencies
Best Used for:
- Pistols and light rifles
- Pistols and lightweight carbine

Very pleased with this product. I installed it on a T/C arms handgun 25-06 caliber and it has held up to this recoil. Would highly recommend it.

I have bought two of these in the last month. This is my first Burris product. This may be the nicest scope in its class. For what it is advertised, it is. Glass seems very clear; dryfire practice in lowlight around the house, I can still see reticle clearly. Capped turrets have a decent indexing. Scope has a heft that seems well built. I just wish that it had a lit reticle, which could be as simple as a “fire dot” in the middle of the duplex. I do like the ballistic holds, although I have had not had much time to play with yet. The eyepiece has to be adjusted appropriately to make out these small holdovers. I bought one for a 22 WMR revolver, almost as a test. I just mounted an identical one on a 44RM revolver. One thing that I did not like, was how on one the locking ring for the eyepiece was torqued down to the point where pliers were necessary to loosen it from the factory. Boxes were sealed with plastic wrap, so you know that the product has not been messed with.
I’m a huge Vortex Viper PST Gen2 fan. It’s very disappointing that Vortex can’t produce a product to compete in this market.
Pros:
- clear glass
- decent ballistic reticle

Nice scope but doesn’t come with lens caps. Could use a little more eye relief at 7 power.

Easy effort to zero in at 100 yards. Clear picture and acceptable eye relief at max 7x. Used low Burris scope mounts with a couple pieces of thick tape in bottom mount to get scope to just clear the rail. Decent cheek weld. Very pleased so far after initial setup and shoot.
