Most Helpful Positive Review BTH 35 Handheld
Great price on great product. I own several different brands but this handheld is the best unit and best price. The clarity day or night is impressive and the size makes for the perfect handheld. May try the BTH is scope next.

Tons of features - outstanding handheld thermal!

by Brad, from CO, United States Written on April 2, 2024
I've been using the 35mm version for a couple weeks now and the video quality is outstanding! The image is clear enough to see individual tree trunks at 800 yards and animals are sharp and crisp. I really want to try this with blood tracking because you can see the thermal signature from hoof prints several minutes after an animal has passed by. I can only image how easy it would be to track an animal shot while bowhunting!

Great for the price

by FL Hunter, from FL, United States Written on March 17, 2023
This works well for the money. Pros: long battery life. Good resolution. Cons: gets hot with extended use which will likely shorten life, sometimes gets a blurred washed out look after using for a period of time which seems to correct itself if I turn it off for a while.
Pros:
  • long battery life
  • Resalution
Cons:
  • Gets hot after extended use
  • Image blurs after extended use
Best Used for:
  • Scouting and identification in low light.

Burris handheld thermal

by Bluetaco, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on January 28, 2023
This thing is absolutely impressive. For the money there is nothing that even comes close. I also have the Burris thermal on my rifle and I love that thing too. I am very happy with this purchase. The refresh rate is good, it is easy to focus and I was able to spot a couple coyotes from 300-400 yards out with ease and had no problem identifying them as well.
Pros:
  • cost, and quality
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • hunting, camping, other outdoors activities

Couldn’t be happier

by anonymous, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on November 13, 2022
I wanted to get a thermal for so long but didn’t want to waste money on a budget option. But also couldn’t afford anything of quality. Please don’t waste your money on a low quality thermal. Just got lucky when I came across this deal. The initial charge time was roughly 14 hours. Which scared me at first thinking I had a defective unit. But since the initial charge it only takes a few hours. This is an amazing tool so long as you go into it knowing what it’s capable of. I had certain expectations before I bought this and online videos don’t do much justice. You can easily spot anything above ambient temp so long as it’s in the open. This optic having an auto detect on high heat signatures is a must. Any type of foliage will obstruct heat signature. It is easy to clearly identify any target out to around 200 yds. Anything further and the smaller the object the harder to identify obviously. After using this for a while now and getting to know all the features and settings I can honestly say I’m happy. In my opinion this is perfect for target identification and pairs perfectly with a NV scope.
Pros:
  • Quality
  • high adjustability
  • Resolution in total darkness
  • eas of use, appearance
Cons:
  • Price $$$ - unfortunately good things come out a price.
Best Used for:
  • Target acquisition
  • Home & livestock protection
