I recently evaluated the Burris Fullfield 4-16X50mm PA AE Wind MOA rifle scope. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I mounted and leveled the scope on my Tikka .223 and proceeded to sight in the rifle. Zeroing in was quick and I was able to obtain a very precise zero in just a few shots. The zero stop was very intuitive and easy to use, however the small screws needed to come out fully to adjust it, which I felt was somewhat of a liability on the range. I would like to see an improvement of the zero-stop system where the complete removal of the screws was not necessary.
The eye relief is comfortable, which is a big plus when you’re spending a lot of time behind the scope. The 4-16X zoom range is versatile, and the glass provided edge to edge clarity with a generous field of view.
Reliability is the absolute determining factor for me when choosing a hunting scope. This scope is built tough. It handled dust, moisture, and recoil without any issues during my range sessions. I maxed out the elevation several times and the scope always returned to zero without any issues. I purposely threw it on the truck seat and carried my rifle by the scope at the range several times just to verify that my zero never changed. If performed flawlessly.
