Battery cap will not stay on. Otherwise great red dot
This was a nice red dot. Easy to zero. Good intensity settings. The plastic insert of the battery cap busted so that the battery cap will not tighten and therefore the battery falls out. I looked the vortex red dot at a gun show and this one seems better built.
Review of bushnell
This is the second one I've purchased. I liked the first one so I bought another gun and another red dot. I've also showed this to friends who have also purchased them as well. So far so good. I've put one n an AR15 and another on a Winchester SXP pump shotgun

Good RDS for the money
I picked this up for my 16 inch patrol carbine which is frequently mounted to an ATV and takes beating travelling through wooded areas. It is very sturdy and holds zero well. It has been whacked on trees and submerged more than a few times and has never lost zero. The reticle illumination turret is VERY stiff when you first get it but loosens up nicely the more use it gets. My only complaint is while you can still mount a flip up BUIS you have to remove the Scope altogether to be able to use it.The 3 dot back up sights on top are very small and hard to see. Overall a pretty durable RDS for a decent price.

- While already having backup sights on top. I would like to be able to use a flip up BUIS in case of failure, without having to remove the whole scope.

One of the Easiest to use
I bought this scope on the recommendation of a friend. Glad I listened to him.
It was easy to mount on my AR and It was a breeze to sight in. Have fired over 1000 rounds and have never had any problems except for forgetting to turn off the scope. Battery doesn't last very long when I do that...lol But, I love this red dot.
