TheGDog's Review of Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 10x42mm Monocular

I purchased this Monocular as an option to help shed weight when accessing a hunting area meant more hiking. I really love this device! The Belt Clip is strong and works really well. You're NOT going to have this fall off on its own! I was soo jazzed to find that this device already has a Tripod attachment on the bottom. The other day, for two hours at dusk I watched a Doe and her 2 Fawns feeding @ 100-120yds away with this Mono on a Tripod. Wow... so stunning sharpness and clarity with this thing. And then... after they finally left.. a flicker of motion caught my eye... and I started watching a tiny Cottontail that went into the same opening of meadow in the middle of the chapparal. I have a Vortex DiamondBack 8x28 and 10x42 and this Mono. This Mono is superior in picture. And because of my side-by-side-by-side comparisons... I think I'm going to be sending back to Vortex my 10x42's which I have not had long nor abused and have them go thru them and re-calibrate because the 8x28's look superior on the same target at all different times of the day. After I get the 10x42 Vortex back... if I don't see improvement.... I'm likely going to also buy the 10x42 Ultra HD Binos because of how much I like this Mono! This Mono's clarity also led me to dumping a Redfield Rampage spotting scope I had. I could see the distant object with better focus/clarity etc on this Mono than on that other product. Also... not picture here... the both sides come with lense caps... the Objective lens cap is a cool flip-down design too!
