I usually hunt coyote on flat land that has grass up to my knees. Using the Thor HD is a blast when in this kind of environment, easy to spot the coyotes in the tall grass. The scope was easy to set up and zero with the onboard "One Shot Zero" feature. I recommend purchasing and extra battery pack for this if you plan on hunting for more that 5-6 hours straight.
