this is an awesome mount theres not a lot to say about a mount really, its very straight my optic required very little adjustment to get dialed in the mount has excellent machining and finish its very similar to the warne mount which is not a bad thing at all because it too is a great product. if you are looking for nice quality mount for under 150$ this would prob be my top choice
this is an excellent lpvo no real compromise made here extremely clear glass some of the best I have seen and this isn't my first trijicon scope I also have the 4.5-30 from trijicon which also has excellent glass as well as numerous other trijicon products. trijicon is in that perfect price/performance ratio where you can spend 2x as much but not really get a much better product. this scope does everything you want a scope like this to do. clear glass, clear, easy to use reticle, strong enough illumination for daytime use. I also have the nightforce nx8 and the eotech Vudu this stands up to either. buy with confidence this is a great product. good work again trijicon keep making great products and ill keep buying them!
this is an incredible rifle scope and it actually is a very good value. built like a tank does everything my atacr 5-25 does but at a better price whats not to love? clarity is excellent build quality is top notch. this rifle scope is a good entry into top tier rifle scopes. beyond this you wont be getting much for your money a feature here or there but you wont be getting anything better. this is a world class optic make no mistake. i have no regrets shelling out big bucks on it and i doubt you will either. buy with confidence trijicon doesnt play games they only sell the best
i preordered this scope direct from shepherd and got it before it was available to the market as a hole so i got one of the very first brs scopes. it is a very nice scope optically its about as good as any scope ive used. i do have a few gripes though. i do with it was 1/4 moa adjustments with atleast 80 moa of total travel. the 60 moa total travel kills this scope for long range dialing. i get it they made the drop reticle and all but i still like the ability to dial long range. also the turrets although accurate in tracking are mushy not the best by any means. not bad not great either better than alot of scopes but in this price there are better turrets. id say for 700ish dollars its a dam good scope. the glass color and clarity is very good for this price better than most sub 1000$ scopes id say. it does have some chromatic abboration but only above 20x. illumination is as good as ive seen on a scope certainly bright enough for daytime use. id give it a solid 4 stars bringing price into the consideration. i have scopes id consider to be much better than this one but they also cost twice as much so the comparison isnt exactly fair. i think at 700ish dollars this is a strong buy. if shepherd reads this please go to 1/4 moa adjustment and atleast 80 moa travel id probably buy another one if you did!
this is the best overall optic on the market and heres why. yes there are superior quality products from nightforce ans SB and the like but they also often cost 2x or more the price of this optic. when factoring in price which lets face it we all want the most for the least amount of money. most people arent willing to spend 3x the price for 5% improvement it doesnt make any sense to do that. take it from me i personally own several high dollar scopes and i can honestly say what they offer over this optic does NOT justify the price difference. when i compare this optic to my nightforce atacr i virtually notice no optical difference at all and the turrets on the ares are better. there i said it people can get as mad as they want but its true. this optic has the best turrets ive felt in an optic. better than nighforce better than my trijicon 4.5-30. and ya i hear ya the sound and feeling means nothing if it doesnt track true right? ya absolutely right and the ares etr passed the tracking test with flying colors its dead on just as good as my nightforce and trijicon. you know where the ares gets beat by nightforce and trijicon? its in appearance. there no doubt when you look at the ares turret caps and eye piece it looks cheaper and plasticy compared to the nightforce and trijicon optics. but seriously who cares? a scope is a tool and im not saying the ares looks bad please dont take what im saying that way but if you lined the three up to someone who knew very little about sco
