I support American companies. Especially when they are the best. Trijicon gear never disappoints. The tall irons are working out great. Installed without a hitch.
Viridian is my go-to for most red dot optics now. Durable, reliable and the price is right. I have others. Trijicon, Leupold on my better, more expensive firearms. But for EDC and range shooting... Viridian is my choice.
This bipod is affordable and substantial enough for stabilizing a large bore long gun. I was skeptical when I ordered it but upon arrival impressed with the heavy duty construction and quality. Adjustability on every axis is a bonus and when locked it stays locked even under substantial recoil.
Combat proven ruggedness. I don’t baby my carry gun. I expect the optic to perform as well as the pistol and be just as reliable. You can buy a red dot cheaper, but why would you? Guns are tools, not fashion accessories.
Lower cost Chinese red dots will do the job. Until they don’t. It’s important to think about how much you save by going cheap. Those who go for glitzy features… mostly mall ninjas. Trijicon is designed for professionals and serious civilians. Worth every penny.
Holosun is OK, but when its is suggested this a premium optic I just roll my eyes. Holosun red dots remind me of Japanese cars in the 1980s. Full of gee-whiz features that seem cool to gadget freaks but nobody really needs. People talk about how much more expensive Trijicon and other US-made optics are. But not really. First, you get what you pay for. If you are a serious gun owner and carry a firearm, why on earth would you not want something not only rugged, but combat-proven? If you are a mall ninja or seek bragging rights at the next airsoft or paintball weekend tournament, buy the Holosun or Swampfox. There's nothing wrong with being an amateur. Ask Mom.
Pass on this one. It's a big, heavy clump of solid rubber. I removed it after a couple of days. In addition to other options that are far better, it's downright fugly. I've never seen anything quite like it.
If you need support after the sale from Howard Leight/Honeywell, forget it. I lost the battery cover. It comes off easily. My fault. But I contacted them to get a replacement and was immediately stiff armed by their awful customer service. They basically said go buy another set of earmuffs or ask the retailer to replace it. Yea, right. The retailer is going to hand be a new 80 dollar item because I lost the battery cover. So…
I do not like Howard Leight
Their customer service is not right
I will not wear them at the range
Peltor now gets all my change
Works great, comes with thread protector, wrench, and recoil spring. No issues installing or fitting. Drop-in.
Having the option of adding a can to the LCP make it more useful and practical. It’s important to use high velocity 22LR when using a suppressor or the LCP may not cycle properly. Weak subsonic rounds are hit or miss when it comes to cycling on a semi auto.
