Great Eye Relief for your AR

Written on Feb 21, 2024

Definitely an optic for your AR build. With how far this optic needs to sit back for the right sight picture, the rail system on the AR is perfect for this optic. You get great magnification for 50 yards. The red and green options are clear. The etched black reticle looks stellar. Definitely a great optic from a great brand.

Great Ammo

Very reliable ammo. Had no issues with it at the range last weekend. Cycles like it should.

Great Addition to Zhukov - S

Written on Feb 21, 2024

The .75 rise was exactly what I needed to get more in line with my red dot. I’m running the Romeo5 without the optics riser on the Midwest Industries scope mount (full rail). This set up with the Magpul riser is money. Huge difference from the wood stock where I had to come up of the stock more in order to see my sight.

Great Upgrade from Wood Stock

Written on Feb 21, 2024

The Zhukov stock from Magpul is definitely a must have. With the addition of a cheek riser, it really gives you a more comfortable cheek weld when running a red dot. After following the installation instructions, I did notice a 1/16” gap on one side. Come to find out, the trunion was pushing the point of connection down. To avoid this gap, all I had to do was sand down the top of the trunion. This allowed for a smoother fit and immediately removed the gap on the left side of the gun. I have the Riley Defense RAK47-C. So if you’re running that gun, you might have to do some very light modifying to the trunion.
