I bought two of these. If you read the reviews of the standard AR15 carbine version of this tube, there are several reviews complaining of lots of stock wobble. I can confirm these issues with this A5 tube as well. There was a little bit of wobble on my stock buffer tube, which was fine, but now there is a ton. Not sure if it has something to do with the multiple flat surfaces on the outside or if the tube is just slightly undersized. It also seems like the sizing is a little off with the threads on one of the tubes I received, as my castle nut was way too difficult to rotate on the threads. The anodizing is shiny black...don't let the images fool you. I'll probably be returning these. I didn't think it was possible to mess up a buffer tube, especially at this price point.
Flawless but $$$$$ and small inner diameter

These handguards are flawless examples of a lightweight, compact quad rail handguard. Perfect finish and machining. I ended up sending mine back, however, for two reasons. First, the inner diameter is narrow, which greatly restricts muzzle device tucking. Finally, I could (and did) buy 3 lightweight quad rails from a different mfg (made in USA too) for the same price as one of these Midwest Industries handguards. The overall fit and finish of the other handguards is about 90% of the MI at 1/3 the price, and they have a generous inner diameter for muzzle device tucking.
