Ill stick with the NX8 in the future

I purchased one in March of 24 and it wouldn’t hold zero or track. Trijicon was very quick to rectify the issue and sent a replacement that they assured me passed all their QC requirements. I confirmed torque specs with their team and mounted the new optic. That optic also would not hold zero and did not track consistently. I sent that optic back and they sent another replacement. I have yet to try it but I’m not holding my breath this one will be a winner. elevation turrets on all 3 have been silent, mushy and almost nonexistent but windage feels and sounds great. Feel and sound don’t matter if it’s not going where you tell it to though. Glass is great and reticle is great but steer clear.

This mount is great! I’ve used other brands with great reputations but have had issues with them eventually. I love the way it mounts to the rifle and love the number of screws holding the rings to the optic. Fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from JP. It’s an amazing product and I will definitely use again. I love the height the 34mm sits above the rifle (nice and tight) but am wondering if it would be too high if I didn’t have a 34mm with a large objective. When I get one I’ll post that review too. Love this mount though!

Vltor A5, Spring And Buffer Kit
I have the A5H3 on a rifle that runs great! The combination of a mid length gas system and this buffer system allows the rifle to stand completely still when firing. It was almost surprising. I use grease on my buffer springs to get rid of the typical scraping thwang sound some complain of so it really makes for a pleasant experience. Vltor has an amazing product here! It also came with an end plate and castle nut. I forgot about that. Was a very nice addition.

Knight's Armament URX 4 M-Lok Forend Kit
I got this for a 9mm pistol build. I had seen reviews here and online (forums, etc) that claimed the total length is 8.75 instead of 8.5. This is not true. It’s exactly 8.5”. The shims add a TINY bit but not much. The size is perfect and feels good in the hand but the texture is less than desirable. I was hoping it would have a smooth anodizing but it’s rough and leaves an ashy white appearance all over...and my wife makes me put balm on my hands so they’re not the driest hands ever. I’m hoping it will smooth out over time otherwise I’ll be paying for cerakote. Overall I like it for this build but installation and texture have talked me out of using it for a new duty upper for work.
