I combined the T2 with the spikes industry flat wire spring. I have a mid-length gas system. This combo set-up has worked well with my carbine. My brass kick out at 3 to 3:30. The spring load is quite different (stronger) than the round factory spring. That’s the biggest difference that I can appreciate. If you road the charging handle, when closing the bolt, on the round wire it would not completely lock up. It does lock up with the flat wire.
