I bought the AGM Rattler TS25-384 to use at a maximum range of 125 yards in an open field. When the device arrived, the firmware loaded on the device was one update behind but the update process was simple. In the field, the performance of the device is impressive. The ability to detect heat sources and the clarity at 125 years has exceeded my expectations. I have noticed an occasional lag in the picture but the refresh rate is acceptable. I will not hesitate to recommend the AGM Rattler TS25-384 to my friends. I will also recommend the Optics Planet to my friends. I am a frequent customer of Optics Planet and by this time I must have reached the highly coveted "Double-Platinum Diamond" level.

I bought the scope to mount on an AR that I assembled (300 blackout). I am very happy with the performance, quality and appearance. The finish of the scope is superb and the glass is clear. Everything about the scope indicates that it is a quality product. Thank you Optics Planet - I have spent a lot of money with you and I am always pleased! My wife wishes you would stop sending discount coupons to me. I wish you would start selling precious metals.

The Steiner 8x42 predator Binos have exceeded my expectations, they are easy to focus and the clarity is phenomenal. I am very pleased with the light transmission and their performance in low light conditions.

I tested the device with the worst night vision device I own (a 2 year old digital monocular). I tested the device a few hours before sunrise. I was looking across a field with dead grass (tan). With the naked eye, I could see a clump of trees a 50 yards and could see the point at which the treeline began 105 yards away. I could not see detail. On the widest field of view, I could clearly see details in the woodline 105 yards away. I could also clearly identify a foot bridge at 150 years. As I began to focus the beam, the details of the footbridge were clearly identifiable and the "shadow' areas disappeared. I was not able to go to a complete beam focus, an artifact became visible in my digital device. The digital device has never had such a clear and bright display.

For my purposes, I will not need the focal doubler. I'll probably buy one if I see a great deal but only because I am a gadget guy, I like have more equipment than I need and my eyes are getting old.

I am very pleased with the Laser Genetics ND-3XL Sub-Zero. The quality is evident from the moment the box is opened. I prefer the ND-3 because of the size and the fact that it can easily be mounted on a firearm. Furthermore, it was very easy to boresight the device to my scope. The collimator turns smoothly and I can use the device at all beam widths since I boresighted the device to my scope.
