I use this in a semi-open range (roof and back/side walls) to measure my handloads and match velocities on antique military rifles. One thing I learned, which may be the same for other brands, and should've actually read in the manual, is that you don't want it right up close or the muzzle blast confuses it. So I can't have it under the roof even though I spent the money on the indoor light kit. Other than that, it works well. Pretty sturdy, I hit one of the sticks with a 22 round once (cursed windage adjust rings), other than having to bend it straight, no damage. Also it being almost knocked over by the fireball when I tried to measure a 75 grain black powder load a foot away didn't hurt it either.
It's nice how it saves the strings after turning it off, so you can write everything down at home, and how you can delete individual bad shots to get them out of the AV/ES/SD calculation. Still on the original battery after maybe twenty hours of use. I'm happy with it, though maybe I should've spent a little extra on the bluetooth one.

Every reloader probably has dozens of these. I've never had one break or come open in my range bag. The newer mechanical hinge ones are a little bulkier than the old flexible plastic, but you no longer have to fight with them trying to close themselves on the range bench. Great price, made in the USA unlike other brands that cost the same.

Fits perfectly. Sturdy material, even the velcro holds on well. I absolutely trust this not to come loose. Also the side mount is nice. The quick-length-adjustment feature works great, lets you change the length by about a foot in half a second. Great for wearing your rifle muzzle-down on your right side with the sling across your left shoulder like a guitar. You can keep it short as you're walking, then quickly adjust the sling with your left hand while your right hand is grabbing and raising the rifle.

My Mini14 has to be cleaned from the muzzle end (or with a snake but that doesn't count), and the plastic one of these that I had wasn't narrow enough to fit into the barrel. This brass one is "sharp" enough to do so.

It's been loaded up with five rounds for a year now and hasn't stretched loose. Good enough for a home defense break-action leaning in the corner. Trick to getting it on is to slide it on from the muzzle end rather than over the widest part of the butt stock.

First I have to agree with Joe that they insert more easily than my OEM mags. The latch "block" is folded metal like the Ruger 5-round style rather than the welded on block like the Ruger 10-round.
The thing with these rifles is that they're very sensitive to how high the top round in the mag is. Too low and the bolt slides over the top. That's obvious. Too high and it pushes up on the bolt as it's trying to eject and can cause ejection problems. (The bolt has some slop in it to allow for it to work dirty, and if it's being pushed up and to the right, like when it's extracting the second casing, the ejector tab can barely scrape the edge of the empty casing rather than knock it loose from the extractor claw)
These can be adjusted by bending the top tabs with pliers to get it right, but you're wasting ammo and range time until you get it right. Maybe you could get it set by manually cycling dummy rounds, but you can't really simulate the way the bolt gets violently thrown around.
The nickel ones do look classy on a stainless rifle though.

The listed specs seem to be wrong. The real inside size is about 3x3x1 inches. I live in a restricted state, and was having trouble finding mag pouches for my 10-round Mini14 mags. This pouch fits two of them snugly, though maybe half an inch too deep (just put something underneath them to raise them high enough to grab easier). Price is great too. If they're in stock next time I make an order, I'll buy at least one more.

Bought this because the light only comes with a regular USB cable. There are no computers near my work area, and a universal USB type wall adapter would be more likely to be "borrowed" by a coworker. It works fine and the cord is long enough.

I've been using this in a tire shop for half a year now, when a job calls for more than just a pen light, and it's met most of my needs. Bright enough. Variety of position/attachment/angle options. It's been dropped six feet a bunch of times with no damage (magnet's a little weak, but mostly my fault for bumping into it).
I do have a couple of complaints. The two-sided thing is a little pointless and I almost always forget which side lights up first and blind myself, seems more intuitive to have the button side light up first. My other big complaint is that there's no indication that the battery is low until it suddenly dims. I regret not buying the package with the spare battery. Other minor complaints, UV is a little weak, pop-out hook opening could be bigger, would be nice if the button was on the side so you could turn it on without opening it.
Overall it's been good enough that I don't plan on replacing it unless it breaks.
