I have a few of these on various types of rifles and all are still functioning fine. This level is not too big but can still be seen in front of the parallax adjuster when down on the rifle. When torqued to specifications not one has slipped.
This is the least expensive scope I would own. It has reasonable features, good glass for the cost and pretty accurate windage and elevation adjustments. This is a great scope for an inexpensive 22lr build that will help build your abilities when you transition to the Nightforce or Tangent Theta in the future.
For years while reading all the favorite gun magazines some of the older writers made the comment of "Old eye issues"
Well, I'm over 60 now and catch myself with the same easy phrase. These sights greatly improve sighting problems with low light situations as well as eye sight deterioration. The Henry rifle is a marvelous little piece of machinery and with the addition of these sights it fits all ages.
I like the very simple yet advanced design of this manufacturers product. I now have two sets of these rings. One set is for permanent use on an old Remington 22lr. This set is attached to a Tango 6 Sig Sauer scope that I use for rimfire rifle ammo lot testing on rifles with grooved receivers. In this role the utmost accuracy, reliability and ease of changing from rifle to rifle is of great importance. Keep up the good manufacturing BKL and keep these products in your lineup Optics Planet.
I have shot lots and lots of bullets in several different rifles and calibers. When frustration sets in at the loading bench or zero line just grab some Bergers. I run several bullet brands but in many cases constant observation is required of target group quality because if it doesnt come in the yellow box it will more than likely ruin your day at one time or another.
Looking at the reviews of people having issues with the barrel nut and its associated tool that Aero includes had me a bit anxious. This build is now my 10 year old grandsons varmint rig. We chose the Proof Research 22 inch carbon wrapped 22 Nosler caliber for it's light weight, low recoil and no wind or hold overs out to 300yds. I must say my 10 year old must be a superstar because during this build the only thing he let me do was secure the action block in the vise. I'm not sure if Aero redesigned the barrel nut tool or some people are more "ham fisted" than I realized because even heating the action with a heat gun on low so the Proof could be slid in without fuss all the way to torquing the barrel nut to 60ft.lbs. was accomplished by a very thin 10 year old.
Tom and the boys at Armageddon gear know a thing or seven about shooting. Always a party when this guy is at a Match. But really he does listen to the fellow competitors and does his best to apply what he sees and learns to his products. If only he sponsored me and gave all this stuff to me free gratis.
I use mine for a pillow when I realized the match was mountain time and my I was still on central time. Yes I would like to think it was caused by the laser focus on full display that day. Well maybe not. But hey it was worth a few ZZ's and a few "IMPACTS" as well.
Just get one you too will realize the reason all the cool kids have one.
Before starting the quest of PRS shooting matches I had no idea a person could be so steady in a compromised shooting position.
This bag is just one of many ways to achieve that perfect sight picture no matter what object the rifle is resting on. This is one of the top PRS pieces of kit you will find at any match. I have found this bag is also useful in deer blinds and prairie dog hunts as well.
I really like the rectangle design. It gives the shooter the option of multiple shooting heights when turning it to a different side.
These bags are rugged and have been used to stand on for those positions thought to be impossible before.
I use this for a front rifle rest on a table when teaching kids to transition from a fully prone or bench position into a front only support or off hand style.
