Purchased this spring for a new AR 10 project. After shopping around for a few days I found that Optics Planet definitely had the best deal. Not disappointed. I would purchase another from them if I ever need to do so.

Good product overall, but could be better

I recently ordered this tool and, despite taking an eternity to get shipped to me, it was pretty well made. I liked the compactness of the kit, it would easily fit in a backpack or bugout bag, but I thought the included "rope" would likely be pretty useless for much of anything but shoelaces. The fire starting stuff, the knife, and the compass were pretty good quality but the rest was so-so.

Leupold Standard Rifle Scope Rings
Best scope mount and rings on the market for the money. I have used these on multiple rifles over the years and have yet to have any problems with them. The stay on tight and do not loosen up, even on heavier calibers.

Good value but heavy!

I am pleased with the scope overall, but this sucker is very heavy and bulky. I suppose that's the price you pay for a first generation scope, though. I haven't had a chance to sight it in yet, but it was kind of cool to take out into the back yards and demonstrate to my kids how NV scopes work. One word of advice to new buyers; buy a riser when you get the scope. It makes it just about the right height for an AR.
