LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!!!

Written on Nov 28, 2020

Easy to use, comes with everything you need except a torque wrench. Barrel nut is mediocre at best, built more thin than Milspec. The guard was easy to install, no complaints there. The Guard itself looks good, but its not built to last. In a SHTF scenario this thing wouldn’t last long at all.

Performs like it should, durable

Written on Nov 05, 2020

I purchased this for an AR15 Pistol Build, I have a PSA lower, Franklin Arms Binary Trigger, Holosun sight, BCA 7.62x39 12.5” upper. This Pistol Brace looks good, and it performs well. I do recommend it.

I purchased the 1” scope mount.

Written on Oct 11, 2020

First of all this is a high quality, well made scope mount for a cheap price. It cradles the scope perfectly, torque it to 18 foot pounds and you’re ready to go. I read another review on this mount and they were complaining about the fitment, it fits perfectly, they must have made a mistake. It looks sleek and stylish, I would definitely recommend.

The trigger guard is garbage

Written on Oct 02, 2020

The parts kit is all good but the trigger guard, it’s held in place by a set screw. I don’t like this, the picture makes it look like the retractable pin, but its not. The springs all feel good, mag release works as it should.

Nice combat rail

Written on Sep 21, 2020

Looks and feels good, very light weight, easy to install. You only have to torque the barrel nut and the two hex screws to 40 foot pounds. I don’t have a single thing to complain about it, I will buy more from Midwest Industries.

My favorite gun grip

Written on Sep 11, 2020

I have huuuuuge hands, and most of the time AR15 grips feel small in my hands. These grips feel literally perfect. Not too big, not too small, perfect. Plus the rubber allows you to really grip your rifle. I have these on all my rifles.

Expensive, but it works....FAST!

Written on Aug 27, 2020

WOW, I was super worried about installing this trigger, but it was easy. Didn’t take 20 minutes. I went with the heavy springs and she fires like a dream. You can fires through a magazine very quick. I highly recommend.

cheesy paint job

Written on Aug 25, 2020

I wouldn’t recommend you to buy this if you’re concerned about “looks” the mount comes painted with lots of chips. It looks used. It seems to be made well, perhaps if you strip it, and powder coat, it would look better.

Averages 8 misfires out of a 30 round magazine.

Written on Aug 24, 2020

The hammer spring is very weak in this trigger. Shot 5 mags of 30 rounds each, the average was 8 misfires. It was definitely an embarrassing day at the range, all the odd looks as I constantly had to rack a new round. I do not recommend this trigger.

Will not perform with steel ammo

Written on Aug 18, 2020

This trigger does fine with brass ammo, no problems what so ever, as soon as you change over to steel, prepare for light primer strikes. Paired with a 6.5 grendel upper, out of 75 rounds of steel, I had 5 light primer strikes. I reloaded these five rounds in the magazine and all but one fired, I took the trigger back out, put the mil-spec trigger back in, fired 75 rounds, or three magazines without a single misfire.
