Fits my Savage Elite Precision in 300PRC with 30 inch barrel, overall 53". Solid built packed with features at a great price. The scope cover is a nice touch and fits my 4.5-30x56 scope with sunshade installed. The front pockets with MOLLE grid designed for spotting scope and tripod but can also be used for an AR pistol or bullpup rifle. I have different Savior Equipment case and it is holding up after many range trips bouncing down a dirt road in the back of a Jeep. I expect the same with this one as well.
Suprisingly comfortable and easy enough to swap out to a normal grip when traveling outside of Comiefornia. I have tried several options trying to stay compliant and prefer it to the fin and other options out there. I have this item on multiple AR and AK builds.
Looked like a great concept but in reality not so much. The design of the trigger tension spring needs to be rethought. With the captured spring and pin there are multiple friction points giving a gritty feel to the pull. The pin rubs on tha walls of its housing and the tip of the pin drags on the bottom of the rifles receiver. Sure I could have polished and greased the heck out of it to attempt to mitigate the grittiness. But for the price I shouldn't have to do added work to make it better than the stock trigger. Second point the original description said it came with straight and curved trigger shoes but mine arrived with only straight.
The over bore and quick detach are great. I did remove the stops that block the legs from folding rearward allowing me to store legs either forward or rearward. As far as the quality it is not one of the $300-500 bipods but it seems solid enough with a little bit of forward and rearward play. About same quality as the Chinazon knock offs of other bipods I own. I wanted to put it on my PA 6.5 grendel but it does not work on the foreend I have on it. My foreend the first slot on the top rail is set back .75 inch and has rail sections on both right and left sides. The .75 setback of the top rail combined with the 2.5" wide foreend the leg locks hit the sides of the foreend when depressed not allowing the legs to be deployed. The width of the foreend also blocks the tilt function from working properly. On the bright side it works on my AR with a .5" rail set back and 1.5 wide foreend also on my AR with no rail set back and 2" wide foreend.
