STREAMLIGHT TLR-2 HL G

Written on Aug 02, 2016

I purchased this Streamlight for an AR pistol build. This is my third TLR-2 HL and I highly recommend them. They are extremely bright at nighttime or low light situations. Battery life has been better than I expected. One is mounted on a Glock 17 and the switch adapter that allows the light to be activated by the middle finger is very useful. This is my first green laser and the green is more visible during daylight than the red, but still is hard to pick out on most targets past 10 yards in bright sunlight. Both the red and green are easily discernible at night. The HL is worth the extra cost as compared to the lower powered version. I am happy with my purchase.

Troy Claymore

Written on Aug 02, 2016

Purchased this for an 11 1/2 in barrel AR pistol to reduce felt blast and noise to the shooter. It performed better than expected. Much less felt blast and noise as compared to my Sig M 400 with 11 1/2 in barrel and stock flash suppressor. When tighten onto barrel and crush washer was compressed, the Troy logo aligned perfectly on the top of the compensator. I plan to buy a second one to replace the flash suppressor on my Sig.
