Why would ayone put snap on inside of holster? This is just dumb and in the way. If you worried about one grabbing your gun and it making difference if snap on inside - it won't. Only annoys wearer and makes bit more difficult for no reason!
It came with noticeable gouge on top of inside right canal on rear sight. Poorly finished like not at all inspected by NF or did not care. I do not blame OP for NF failures.
Received Night sight set for Canik and arrived and has a big dent in metal on inside top edge of rear sight canal. If they had QC or cared then it would never passed inspection. Is what we call in the gun world - a blem, but I paid full, non blem price.
This is 100% on NF and not OP though I guess they better start QC ing batchs from NF before send out. Now I have to contact NF and growl at them on phone and see about replacement ( OP has a month B/O now).
Not impressed with NF so far and 3 stars maybe generous.
Unfortunately Ameriglo ( best night sight company imo, does not make for Canik ) :(
It is CNC cut and powder coated but the edges and esp corners on cut are way too sharp so will mar up any gun barrell etc it is used on. I did not use it cause of this and sent it back to OP.
I bought this due to price and function, but when I got it I realized it was just cnc 1/4" metal cut with sharpish edges and sharp corners which will quickly marr up any gun part being worked on. Get what you pay for I guess. It is powder coated, but still sharp edges and corners which will quickly mark anything it touches. Now if they had grinded edges and corners just a touch then it would be alright. The MOE wrench would be ideal as they cover all the bases this does not, but I can't bring myself to pay $76 ( on sale ) + tax for an armorers wrench so will stick with my open 3/4 inch craftsman wrench to do the job.
If they were spring loaded then they would be so much better! They are not and bit annoying to lock into place imo. Great material, look, and solid but yeah definitely not the best they could be. Markings are clear and nice though.
Bought this for glock 20. It is real bright and solid. Light build looks good and made in USA which I like. Switch function is easy enough and pretty convenient. The price is not cheap, but much cheaper that inforce / surefire. Now why it could be better - I had to youtube how to open battery compartment so I would not break something trying to figure that out. Also install on handgun rail is not super easy and takes time. I have chinese lights that literally can slide on rails in second. This takes a good minute or 2. The tightener requires coin to loosen. Also makes easier to tighten without tightening it too much. All in all it is not the most user friendly light imo. I can over look it because as said it is quality, bright, american made at fair price. One thing I have hard time overlooking is they don't have the cap with port for external cable as being standard. Most of us who own handguns own tact rifles too. Seems like they should have the port available standard. I do not understand why have to buy whole new end cap with cable port for $50! This is a failure of Streamlight to not have this 69130 cap standard especially for price paid. I could have bought olight Valkaryie ( Chinese made) and had same thing basically for function and lumens at under $100. So this is the biggest thing they need to correct- the end cap for batteries. I gave it 4 stars which seems fair and I will begrudgingly recommend as is solid and made in USA but i
