Not the best fit...

Don't get me wrong, CT makes a great product, and this one will serve me well no doubt. BUT this one also has a slight gap between the activation button and the front of the grip. I'm thinking about returning it for a replacement, or removing it and see if I can use a heat gun (ok, it's a hair blower) and move it closer to the frame. I'm talking 1/16th of an inch, but that's enough to allow dust and/or moisture, not good.

Not EXACTLY what I was expecting...

I was expecting this to be more of an overmolded, grip similar to Hogue, etc... not sure if it's polymer, or just hard plastic. Like many others, I will need to Dremel out the back corners to get the small end (by the trigger guard) to close, it's got about a 1/8" gap right now on my Colt AR6720. When I do piece it on I like the feel of using the mag well for support when carrying, and close quarters... and it does add a little more of an aggressive look to it, as if an AR needed to look more aggressive. I still haven't decided whether I'm keeping and modifying it to fit, or returning and going with something else... I checked "Yes" as a recommendation only because it is well made, and they didn't have.
