Price point,this needs to be remembered,for the money,it is a good scope,not too heavy or too light,glass is clear enough,6x magnifying power gets the job done,eye box is good,eye relief standard 3.5 inches,illumination also acceptable, however,I don't use it as I go to the range during the day time,so the etched reticle works just fine, overall,I this in the $300 or less it's a good value,and the OPMOD version looks really nice!.
The rods are brass plated aluminun.....

I bought this kit a couple of days ago, not bad, but i was disappointed in finding out the rods are not made of solid brass, instead are brass plated aluminum......very flimsy material if you need to clean a barrel as they bend much easier than brass.....

No need to get the German one, this is as good as the original at more than half the price, in some instances even more than that, good quality and very solid, no wobble of any kind, clamps firmly, it came with a picatinny already attached with two screws, the file photo doesn't show it, but it does, so you can mount any kind of modern scope.
