Battery Life is Awesome... Unfortunately

Pre-ordered the scope and anxiously waited months for it to arrive. I charged it for 6 hours as per the instructions, powered it on and was setting it up step by step per the manual. The firmware that was loaded was the most recent. Half way thru the setup process the scope completely locked up. The screen has been showing the same information for the past 8 hours and none of the buttons or functions are working, including the power button to re-start the thing. With the battery being internal, there is no way to do a hard restart so I guess I have to wait until the battery dies to reset it. I already have it boxed up ready to ship back on Monday. If this happened to a person when they were in the field hunting, your day would be over and maybe even the next day if the battery is fully charged. Not acceptable.
