I bought the Burris AR-F3 Flattop FastFire Sight and have been very impressed with it for a number of reasons. I bought the sight to finish out my M4 build. With the mount it is perfectly suited for co-witnessing the fixed front sight on the rifle. It attaches very easily to the picatinny rail on the flat top receiver and it is very easy to align the dot with a laser bore sighter. Once properly mounted I took it to the range and was shooting half inch groups at 50 yards with a few adjustments and about 15 rounds. I was very pleased and how easy it was to mount and how quickly I could complete the "sighting in" process. The sight is well protected by the steel mount which came attached right out of the box. The controls are very simple, one button on the left hand side is very accessible and has only 4 settings, off, and three brightness levels. To adjust the location of the dot you only need to use the small flat blade screw driver that comes in the box. I am always impressed with technology that is simple to use and does what it is designed to do. This sight fits that description to a "T". I cannot yet speak to battery life but may follow up with that later. I can say that it holds zero very well as I have shot a couple of hundred rounds through it with no issues. This is my first Burris product but it will not be my last.

This thing is well made and works very well with the Vortex Sparc II Red dot sight I installed on my 300 Blackout Rifle. The optics are bright, clear and distortion free. It is very easy to install but take your time so you can determine the best position for your individual eye relief. The flip mechanism is easy to use and is of sturdy construction. Adjustments to center the objective lens on the red dot are easy and take very little time. For the money this is a great investment that makes your red dot site even more effective with out adding a lot of extra weight.
