Used on Remington 700 BDL.

Written on Nov 17, 2017

I put this trigger in a 1970s Remington 700 BDL. Installation was straightforward with no problems. Without any adjustment, first stage broke at 11 ounces, second stage at 24 ounces, which is great for me. Definite first and second stages. Safety works properly. Passed the slam and drop test. Much better than the factory trigger.

Used on a Weaver base on Marlin 56 Levermatic.

Written on Jun 10, 2017

Used on a Weaver base on Marlin 56 Levermatic, with a Burris MSR 3-9x40. Scope height was perfect for me, and cleared the factory rear sight. Construction on these rings is great for the price. I torqued the ring screws to 20 in/lb and the mounting bolts to 30 in/lb and they didn't strip out.

Used on Marlin 56 Levermatic .22 LR

Written on Jun 10, 2017

Used on Marlin 56 Levermatic .22 LR. It fit perfectly. This rail covers more of the ejection port than the factory dovetail base, so you need to cycle the action fast, or the empty shell will wind up stuck in the ejection port. I notice this happened mainly while shooting off a bench, not offhand. I will probably put this in the milling machine and remove some material around the ejection port to alleviate this.

Great .22 scope.

I mounted this scope on a marlin 56 Levermatic with a 24" barrel. Zeroed at 100 yards using Federal Auto Match. The reticle hash marks are within an inch at 50, 75, 100, and 125 yards at 9 power, I didn't shoot any further. Eye relief is good, and pretty forgiving, but at the 3 power setting, you really have to get your eye in the right spot to avoid blurring around the edges. For the price, It's great .22 scope.

Used on Weatherby Euromark 9 lug

Written on May 25, 2017

Fit like a glove on my Euromark Mark V 7mm Remington Magnum. Provided plenty of mounting space for a Bushnell Elite 4.5-30x50 scope, with Burris Extreme rings. I haven't used it yet, but I have one on a Weatherby Accumark, and it has been great

Used on Smith model 651

Written on May 22, 2017

The factory rosewood grips on my Smith J-Frame 651 were just too small for my hands with the heavy double action trigger. Put these on and I don't influence the shot with my trigger finger near as much, since I have more leverage with these grips. Not quite as concealable, but more control.
