You get the best of both worlds with this scope! Red Dot and Mil Reticle. At 1.5 zoom, you can shoot with both eyes open just like a conventional red dot. At any magnification, you can use the mil reticle for proper holdover. At extreme close range, you can dial up the elevation for point of impact zero and not worry about returning to perfect zero with the zero stop built into the scope. This dual plane scope is an awesome 3-Gun scope!
