bought this mainly for the illuminated dot for low light/night hog hunting. have it on a TC venture 30.06 rifle and i love it. clear glass and the 1/8 inch adjustments let you fine tune your zero. the fine crosshair is especially nice during daylight shooting and the illuminated dot is great after sundown. i have many scopes from many different manufacturers and this one is a keeper!

i purchased this case for my Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter in 44 mag w/scope to keep it clean and damage free during travel and while not in use at home. the case has plenty of room for my pistol and some accessories. very well constructed with plenty of padding and tough thick water tight exterior. now my wife wants 1 for each of her pistols after seeing what a quality product this is. and best of all,I got it on sale.

got 1 of these for my BPS since i have had phenomenal success with the Carlson's choke tubes in my 12 gauges. in the 10 gauge this choke produced better patterns than the factory choke tube with turkey loads but not as much difference as the 12 gauge version. with buckshot loads(federal 00)there was no noticeable difference between this tube and the factory full choke tube. i have not patterned it with steel waterfowl loads. so in the end i have to say it does its job with turkey loads though not as good as i had expected since my other experiences with Carlson's tubes had my expectations very high. it's still an improvement over the factory choke tube which is the whole point. as for the buckshot,I was not overly impressed,hence the 4 stars instead of 5 but still worth the money. the best thing is that, as with all extended choke tubes,removal and installation is so much easier with no choke wrench required. and by the way,Optics Planet's price was 20 dollars cheaper than buying direct from Carlson.

excellent scope for the price. clear glass and the blue illumination is really easy on the eyes for night hunting hogs and predators. the illuminated dot is not a perfect circle but close enough and the six by twenty four power range is great for eyes that don't see quite as good as they used to.
