I put this on a 6.5 Grendel build and I love it! The guy sitting next to you at the range wont like it but that is beside the point. Very effective brake at taming recoil and it looks great on the rifle (lets be honest it has to look cool right?). Once again Midwest has put out a great product at an awesome price. I will be ordering the 556 version for an up coming build.

Ordered this to go on a 6.5 Grendel build and couldn't be happier with how it fit up on the rifle. My son and I had it installed in less then 5 minutes. It is just as rigid as an A2 stock but weights a good bit less which is perfect on this rifle as it has a 20" heavy barrel. The toe of the stock has enough of a flat area to ride on my rear bags well and the length of pull with my long arms is pretty close to perfect with out having an adjustable butt. I will be ordering another as soon as I can decide on what my next build is going to be.

I bought this to go on my Gen1 6.5 Creedmoor RPR that didn't come with a brake. With the weight of this rifle recoil was never an issue to me I just wanted a brake because a thread protector looks stupid in my opinion. I installed it and love how it looks on the rifle, the picture doesn't show it well but this is a beefy piece of hardware. I took the rifle to the range and was very impressed with the recoil reduction. I was shooting 140gr handloads and able to watch impacts at 100 yards with my scope on 16x. The recoil was on par with my 12 lb 223 Savage which has a 24" varmint contour barrel on it. I like this brake so much that I am ordering it again to go on a 6.5 Grendel AR build that I am putting the parts together for. Thank you Midwest Industries and Optics Planet for offering such a great product at a ridiculously low price.

This works perfectly on my WASR 10 and easily allows for front sight adjustments on that rifle. How ever this does not fit on too the front sight of my Norinco SKS which is the rifle I originally bought it for. May be it will fit a Russian or East German SKS but sadly not my Chinese rifle. On the AK it is easy to use and there are lots of great videos out there showing you how to properly adjust your AK front sight.

I was needing an Ambi safety for my featureless AR build and came across this one. This was a budget build rifle so the price was perfect for what I was doing. It installed easily and has a nice positive feel. It is different then the one pictures as one lever is smaller then the other, this is fine as a featureless grip only allows you to use one side. I installed it with the large lever on the right side under my thumb. The action of it is very solid but not difficult to operate. If you are working on a budget get this safety.

I installed this on my AR yo make it a featureless rifle. I went on no problems and after adjusting to the new grip style it works very well. For the price it can't be beat. If I was building another rifle to skirt around CA's stupid laws I would buy this again.
