Purchased for potential use by Marine Scout Sniper Platoon Commanders. Good piece of gear, absorbs light very well, and allows for subject tracking through thick brush. The large and heavy frame makes for a greater load to bare, and I am looking at smaller instruments to do the same job, however I've not found a suitable replacement. If I could make this purchace again, I would have ordered the compass pachage; while this adds yet more weight, I figured it was an acceptable add-on.
