This thing is nice. no longer do I have to drape my hand over the stock to get the proper eye relief on my optic. With that hand I can wrap it around to my shoulder cradling the base of the stock in my fold of my arm for stability. (Gee, it feels like they took that position into account when they designed it.)
Aim up on an incline, or down into a valley, no longer spot on? A couple of clicks and you are right there again.
All in all, this is another quality, well thought out product from Magpul.
Only complaint, the top screw hole isn't threaded, and the original screw you thread in there is blunt, so that
wasn't so easy to do. I ended up using another screw to make the threads. Also, if you own a PTR, you'll probably have to order the big buffer bolt that goes on the back of the buffer.

Okay, so I read somewhere that Pelican acquired a competitor called Storm, hense the Pelican Storm. If this is true or not it's all fine and dandy either way. The point is, there are differences. This Pelican Storm case has pluses, and minuses.
I bought it originally because I wanted a proper length case for an HK 91. All the normal Pelican cases were either too long, or too short for me. This iM3200 was the length I felt was the perfect length.
When I unboxed it my first thought was of disappointment in the color. I got OD green, but the green is not as OD as I would have liked OD green to be. It's just too green for me, and maybe too smooth, or glossy a finish. I guess I'll have to beat it up a bit. It isn't that big a deal, I'm not going to exchange it, but there is disappointment still.
Upon opening the case I really liked the latches. Are they as stout as the normal Pelican case, not really, but they are a really nice design and work great. There are also two more of them as they are on the ends.
I open the case and notice flex. The shell apparently is not as thick as normal Pelican cases. When you open a normal Pelican, it is a thick hard piece with no flex. Opening this case, if you open holding the left side the right side will droop a bit. Is it stout enough? For me it is more than adequate. Closing it up, I could not get flex out of it even when I sat my fat butt on it. I feel it is not quite as solid, but solid enough, and the bonus is slightly less weight.

Okay, I do understand, it just seems it would need teeth to fit in at least a few grooves instead of just torx. Either way, it was an easy install WITHOUT having to take the optic off. It articulates so much easier once on than I would have thought. I only loose a star on it due to the price.

A friend of mine showed me one that he had ordered. I knew right then I had to have one. This thing is hoss. It'll get through the zombie apocalypse and beyond as long as you have your own grit. It is a beautifully made robust knife. Nice long sharp thick blade with full tang. Probably G-10 grips. I can see this easily used as a spear in a survival mode. The leather sheath reminds me of the quality stuff of yester year. The only drawback is watching for availability. As the story has it, a group of wild hog hunters contracted Tops to do a run of a knife they designed for hog hunting. Tops said dang, we like it, and made more. If it's true cool. If it's not, also cool. Either way, I can see it doing what it was designed to do easily.
