Solid mount. A little heavy but it is very rugged. I wouldn’t put it on a lighterweight or hunting ar but I have it on a long range heavy ar15 in 6.5 grendel and it looks sweet! Hardware and edges are all smooth and fit perfect.
This thing is awesome, just buy it!

Vortex Spitfire 1x-AR Prism Scope
This scope is amazing. Super crisp reticle, haven’t shot it past 100 yards but I could see and hit my 8” plate at 100 yards standing no problem! The 1 moa dot is great and makes hitting precise easy. I can’t wait to try out the .556 bdc turret and see how far I can punch steel. The feild of veiw is amazing and shooting with both eyes open it’s like the scope isn’t even there once you get used to it. I’ve heard this called legal cheating in the restricted 3 gun matches. Amazing optic and I think its the ultimate optic for the close-mid range ar15
