Great recoil reduction but lots of smoke

I got this for my .45 CVA Paramount, used to kick like a mule, now it’s well tamed, much easier to shoot but I don’t remember seeing much smoke before the brake vs all the smoke now. It clears up within 3-4 seconds and disperses it quickly but the smoke is a lot greater than before. I was still able to see the target throughout but obviously no smoke is better than any smoke. Overall I’m happy but it’s also a pain the clean all the orifices.

Triggertech AR-10 Diamond Trigger
This this was a breeze to assemble, came with a free Ambi safety BUT this was part of a build, not a replacement trigger so I thought it would come with anti-walk pins, especially for $300 but nope, now I need to go out and get pins to finish this build. I know it’s a great trigger but come on

AP is a great company, this product is exactly what you’d expect. This is my first time building an AR without a forward assist so we’ll see how it turns out! Very happy with the product, the only gripe is it took a while to finally ship, I do t know what all goes on in the warehouse so I’m sure people weren’t just messing around but shipping things out sooner would be nicer.

Viking Solutions Complete Gong Target System
The provided hardware (nuts and bolts) to mount is pretty cheap, I have an AR10 and after one mag the threads on the bolts were completely stripped smooth so I couldn’t use the gong until I got some heavy duty stuff from my local hardware store. It’s pretty easy to set up, I have a sedan and I can fit everything in my trunk, it doesn’t transport super easily but it’s manageable. Lastly, the painted legs and support arm do chip fairly easily with the lead splatter, not a big deal, it’s not being used for looks but it would be nice to have a durable finish that doesn’t catch on everything with the defects now.
