These sights delivered everything XS promised. Most importantly, the big front dot is easy to see for those of us with older eyes.
Target acquisition is super fast with the big open vee rear sight. And it doesn’t take long to learn how to adjust your sight picture for distance to the bullseye at the range.
I’ve ordered a few products from XS and the quality is always excellent. I highly recommend these sights!

I went with the rcbs for several reasons:
-Mostly the shape of the barrel, and it has a handle integrated into the shape. Being able to hold the barrel with one hand so you don't have to bear hug it to get the lid on or off is pretty darn nice.
-The handle on the barrel makes it easy to hold it upside down in the sink and rinse it out with a hose or sprayer.
-The flat spot on the barrel, to accommodate the handle, throws the casings much better than the normal six sided rigs. Almost all the other brands you can find someone created a paddle of some sort to throw the casings.
-The lid has a handle which eases one handed removal.
-The threads for the lid are an ideal half turn setup so no cross threading. It only needs to hold a quarter psi of pressure, not the combustion pressure of a Powestroke.
-It's gear driven so no belt to break.
-Finally, it's RCBS so hopefully they stand behind it. Obviously they don't make it, it's Chinese like all the rest.
—>>I’ve cleaned a few batches of brass so far. A very small load and a very heavy load over 25 pounds. No slipping, no falling off. Dry is important here. Is it noisy? Well, it’s throwing little brass cans against each other so that’s a noisy process. The machine does make some noise as expected but nothing outrageous. The machine running by itself, no barrel, is about 70 decibel. Add the empty barrel and up to 75 decibel. Those are normal conversation volume levels. With 80 44Magnum cases or 100 medium rifle cases, the nois

I have the 10mm/40 cal caliber seating die #044178 for seating bullets in my 40S&W rounds. It will work for 10mm as well. Bullet alignment is perfect as advertised which is a great reason to use these. I don’t need to manually align the bullet so I’m not getting bit by the press anymore, which is another reason to use these.
This die came with a flat nose seating stem and a round nose seating stem. Adjusting seating depth is simple and the locknut provides a solid fix against the rubber washer with no tools required. This die will also crimp your case if desired, or you can seat only. Setup requires a few steps but the instructions from Hornady are clear. Hornady’s engineering is clever and you can easily adjust crimp pressure without having to reset bullet seating depth. There is no backlash in the adjustments after you snug down the locknut. In summary, this die does everything Hornady says it does.
In addition to the 40 seat& crimp die, I have the Hornady seat dies for 38 cal and 30-30 Winchester. They are all fantastic. They all came with spare clips so I am impressed.
No more seating does from the Cheapie guys for me.

I have the 38 caliber .057” seating die #044145 and love it. I use it for my 9mm rounds as well as jacketed 38 bullets.
Bullet alignment is perfect as advertised which is a great reason to use these. I don’t need to manually align the bullet so I’m not getting bit by the press anymore.
This die came with a flat nose seating stem and a round nose seating stem. Adjusting seating depth is simple and the locknut provides a solid fix against the rubber washer with no tools required. There is no backlash in the seating depth adjustment screw after you snug down the locknut. This particular die does not crimp.
In addition to the 38 seating die, I have the Hornady seat and crimp dies for 10mm/40 cal and 30-30 Winchester. They are both fantastic. They all came with spare clips so I am impressed.

These are clearly top quality sights. The tritium is very bright. You do NOT need to be in complete darkness to see them glow. Even with a light on in the corner I can easily see the green dots glowing. The white outline is a little small so they aren’t spectacular for daytime usage and my old eyes. I misread the information and thought they were fiber and tritium like a TruGlo TFO/TFX.

The rod measures .22 inches diameter so it won’t fit a 22 or 25 caliber gun.
30 cal will be snug if you’re using the slot as a patch holder. 312 and up will be fine
Otherwise, it’s good quality steel construction. The built in slot saves needing a separate jag for your patch.

This should be the second press you purchase.
It gets a five, no question. What it does for the cost, it’s a six or seven. Consistency and reliability/repeatability might only be a four and a half. But overall it’s an excellent addition to the reloading bench. Saves handling all the cases individually.
I use it to decap and resize my cases before wet tumbling. Then use it to prime your cases, and expanding if you do that as a separate step.
Pistol cases feed great. I’ve only tried a few 223 cases so far with mixed results.
Be sure to order the funnel/collater. I don’t know why it doesn’t come with it. Dump the cases in and give it a shake.
