Very short battery life

Light and laser work fine but battery only lasts about 10 min. Mounted on 1911, good fit, with easy access to controls. Battery replacement can be hard to find, weird little size. Also find that when I store with battery installed, it is always dead when I go to use, even when stored with a fresh battery

Doesn't work on air rifle

Installed the unit on .22 air rifle and could not get a read out despite setting on most sensitive setting. Called manufacturer and found out that this unit will not pick up air rifle pellet, that I would need the V3 model (cost $200 more)to use with air rifle. These kind of limitations should have been spelled out in the product description. Supposedly this will work for a 22LR but I find that hard to believe.

Caldwell AR-15 Brass Catcher
I recommended this even though I only gave it 3 stars because it was cheap and I bought it with the intent to modify it to suit my needs. Would not recommend to anyone who thinks they can use as is - you're going to be disappointed. If you fall in that camp, Caldwell has catchers that can be used out of the box that are a little more expensive - go with one of those.

Not only does this save me time, it saves me patches. Although it doesn't do away with patches completely, it greatly reduces the number I use when cleaning a gun. I used to go through a lot of patches and its nice that this can be cleaned and used again and again.

I use this to carry two uppers (1 pistol, 1 carbine)and the lower. External pockets accommodate all the ammo I would want for the range. Not 5 stars because I would like more, shorter straps so that I could strap down the uppers and lower individually but this works fine as long as I wrap one of the uppers.

Leapers has become my go-to brand, they consistently deliver good value, and have convinced me that you don't have to pay top dollar to get consistent quality. I've bought Magpul flip-up sights and they are a little nicer, but not worth the extra cost in my book. I gave 4 instead of 5 because they aren't as smooth as Magpul, but they get the job done for me.
Beautiful knife

I'm no knife expert but this is a beautiful knife and it feels great. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I haven't been able to get the razor sharp edge that I want, but like I said, I'm no expert. It would have been good if the knife came with guidance as to optimum angle for the edge.
Great scope for the average user.

Leapers UTG 3-12x44mm Compact Rifle Scope
I consider myself a pretty average shooter - go to the range once a month and go through a couple of hundred rounds, typically at 100yds. Never more than 300yds. Except for a couple of hunting trips every year, its all low-impact range time so I don't need something that can survive a 5' drop. For my needs, this thing can't be beat. I've bought 2 and considering a third given my excellent experience. I have other scopes that cost 3 or 4 times as much but I don't shoot any better with them. I really like the side focus. For my money, its a great value.

Stay away from this piece of garbage.

This was a total disappointment. The dot is a tiny pinprick of light that you can only see when looking at a plain surface - add color and real-life environment and it disappears. Figured there must be something wrong with it so sent to Leapers to have it repaired/replaced. Their response was that it was working as it should and incredibly, as proof they sent a picture of the dot with a plain white background, and sure enough, it was the same useless pinprick of light I was complaining about. Moral of the story - Leapers obviously has incredibly low standards which just insured I never buy any of their products again.

Sightmark Sure Shot Reflex Sight
First reflex sight I've ever tried and very pleased - will probably get one for everything I shoot at 50yds or less. I'm not a 'crawl through the mud' type of user so this meets my needs just fine. Do wish reticle selection was crisper and that there was an automatic turn-off so that I don't go through so many batteries, but can't complain for the price. Point of aim will shift if angle of view is more than 20deg or so, but not a big deal for me.
