I bought this because the VR 80 handguard gets hot and it vents gasses through the handguard. It worked but I had to modify it by putting a spacer on the bottom of the handguard because it was a little loose fitting. Overall happy with the product even with the necessary modification for my application. Almost a 5-star review. The company should include some strips of silicone material to use as spacers to work with more applications.
Great stock to mitigate recoil

Great stock to help mitigate recoil. This is for Mil-Spec buffer tubes ONLY. I like that it has a QD Sling attachment point built-in. Overall fit and finish are very nice. Perfect application for any mil-spc tube gun that needs a recoil pad. I put this on my competition AK shotgun. Would also work great on the AR10 to help tame recoil.

Very nice clean design. Well made and I like that it has a similar look to a factory handguard but makes it more modern and useful. I paired it with an M-LOK 1913 rail to mount a bipod. It took a gamble because some say it would only fit the Century C308 with modification. I was able to mount it without modification. I simply just tightened down the mounting screw. Could you do it with a spacer modification? Yes, but I think most people are just not tightening down the screw enough. It is aluminium so it has some flex which when you tighten it down hard enough it works. I think this is a great option over the factory HK/CETME wide handguard which can be expensive and hard to find.
