Items are very well made, but height to optics axis is WRONG.

Don't get me wrong, these are beautiful rings. But due to the sucky Leupold web site and dimensional miscalculations, the Leupold QRW2 rings are not the dimensions they are listed at. The packaging is accurate but the listing is not. For these rings for 1" diameter scopes, the height from the top of the rail to the bottom of the saddle is 0.5.05". Add 0.5" for one half the diameter of the scope and these are 1.05" high rings. HIGH rings. If you want high rings these are for you, but if you want the lowest possible rings to give you a good cheek weld with smaller objective scopes, these are too high.

This is great!!

This replaces an older Leica 1200 LRF. The Kilo 2000 is more compact and fits the hand better. It comes with a very nice padded pouch and paracord-style leash.

But what's best is how it performs. All controls and configuration are done by holding down a button and moving through easy to use menus. Yard to meters? Easy. The Kilo 2000 can also measure either line of sight, or AMR mode which measures true horizontal distance to a target above or below you by measuring the line of sight AND the angle you're holding at. It can also select between "best" or "last" ranging. Finally it adjusts the intensity of the display depending on ambient light.

Overall this is a win, particularly since I bought it at a great closeout price. The Kilo 2400 is coming out and will have a built in ballistic solution calculator.

Only thing I would change; the Kilo 2000 uses a "CR2" battery, which is a stubby Lithium battery. These should be generally available at any drug store that carries batteries for cameras or hearing aids.
