I installed this on an H&R pardner pump 12 Guage which is a Remington 870 clone. Went on perfectly with no issues. This adapter also has a set screw for the buffer tube so you don't have to use a castle nut which I really liked since I was putting on a magpul fixed stock, and it wouldn't seat forward all the way with the castle nut on the buffer tube. I've used the mossberg adapter on a 500A and it worked great also. One thing I've noticed is that there is a slight downward cant on the buffer tube when threaded into the adapter, but it is nice since it makes it easier the see the bead sight.
