This BACK UP weapon light has got some bad reviews on the internet all of which I don't agree with. People say it's not bright enough to be on a weapon. Well, you're wrong. The 20 lumen version is plenty bright enough when you're in a pitch black house. It's dim enough however to not give away your position. This light should be used for finding your way around in the dark and not for trying to blind someone. It's intended as a back up light to a main weapon light although, the 20 lumen version in a pitch black setting, could take away an intruders night vision and you would be able to positively identify a threat with this light.. in those conditions only. However, if there is any kind of ambient light or light source within eyesight this light won't help much. Just depends on what you're buying it for and why. For me, I use it on my AR PDW in the house when I hear those bumps in the night. Works great for what I use it for and I highly recommend it. I've had the same battery in it for 3yrs now and it's still as bright as when I got it. All in all, a great buy.

It works as it should. Fairly easy to install.. especially if your buffer tube castle nut isn't staked. For me, I'd rather get and run this then any of the other more expensive brands. That being said, if you have a metal connector on your sling that isn't rubberized expect some of the finish to rub off of the sling adapter. It doesn't bother function and is purely aesthetic so it just shows that you actually train with your firearm. It's a little bit wider than I would like, but with repetition you get use to it. All in all, a good buy. As usual, OP is slow to ship, but it's always worth the wait for a better deal.

Charlie D. from Texas doesn't know how to review a product. You don't give an item two stars because it wasn't what you wanted. Get on the internet and research your products before you purchase people! That being said.. this is a great BUS for the money. I own several and can put 3" groups at 300 meters in the prone supported position with this sight. That's fairly decent for a BUS. All in all this sight is not "bulky" like Charlie D. stated. It's barely bigger than the width of your rail and when collapsed, as it should be because it's a BUS, it's not really noticeable. It's light weight as well. Easy installation and looks great. Especially if you're running all Magpul furniture. I have complete Magpul ODG furniture on my M4 build with some FDE accessories and looks great. If you want to spend (waste) your money on the expensive BUIS then go ahead, but this BUS does the exact same thing as those.
