This double magazine pouch/holder is just what I needed for PARA 14 round .45 acp mags.The adjustable tension holds them just right a few clicks from the top. Very pleased.

Purchased a low cost Vortex Strike Fire recently (and very pleased), but think the Sig red dot is even better. I’m retired and appreciate the ease of sighting. Sight came almost perfectly co witnessing my Troy flip up sights. Very satisfied.

A friend did a trigger job for me years ago but a bit too much filing…also my hammer had a blemish where it contacted the firing pin.

Wanting a fresh start the C&S kit was ordered and installed with only a minor hitch. The mainspring (terminology? tensions the sear, trigger and grip safety) supplied is not compatible with Para double stack pistols due to a couple of relief cuts that are customary in colts. You can reuse your original or install a new one for Para’s and be up and running.

I chose to reduce the tension on the middle blade (trigger) and increase it on the right hand blade (grip safety).

All together it feels pretty good. I’m satisfied with the trigger pull and the crisp new hammer (and disconnector, and hammer spring) in my old Para.

300 blk AR pistol with 10.5” barrel (pistol length gas system) would not cycle subsonic without a suppressor attached. Replaced original Maxim standard buffer/spring combo with H3 buffer/spring and problem solved. The original spring was shorter and stiffer. The spring with the H3 is longer by about 3/4” but compresses easier, allows more travel. Now it runs well suppressed or unsuppressed.

Impulse purchase! Heard red dots work well with aging eyes. Arrived promptly and well packaged. Initially not impressed with the clarity of the red dot, but after reading some web postings, I realized that astigmatism will affect your perception of the dot. My unfamiliarity with red dots caused my expectations of resolution to be too high. If you are inexperienced with this type of sight (as I was) and a senior (as I am) don’t expect a perfect dot. Focus on the target and let the dot guide you.

After comparing the dot to my son’s Aimpoint T2, I decided it is a keeper! I trust the high number of positive reviews as to holding zero, so I look forward to sighting in soon.

Ordered this EZ taper mount because it's late 2020 and anything gun related is scarce. The preferred tactical compensator order now indicates a ship date of March 2021 thus in order to use my suppressor on a 1/2 x 28 thread pitch, these had to suffice. Griffin taper mount is great and machining finish is all (as usual) very nice and I knew they would be coming from Griffin.

I ordered this barrel (.45 acp, para ramp with .578 x 28 threads) back in February of 2020, had to wait a considerable amount of time for it to come in. Decided on a suppressor later in the year and after ordering the quick detach device for my suppressor, it wouldn't screw onto the barrel. Griffin sent a second qd device and it wouldn't work either. So to verify the threads, i ordered a .578 x 28 Die to run over the threads. While this confirmed that the Fusion Firearms barrel did indeed have out of spec threads, it damaged the threads to a degree that Optics Planet will not take the barrel back. (Can't send back items if not in like new condition.) I would NOT recommend this or any barrel from fusion firearms if they cannot correctly thread a barrel. (Griffin Armament was very helpful in that they sent me a second qd devide after threading it onto a correctly threaded barrel at their business, for verification.)

Purchased a 7" version to replace a 9" over a 10.5" barrel. Very satisfied with both, but didn't anticipate adding a quick connect device to the barrel. Well made and M-loc compatible. Very pleased with purchase.

The "expert answer" says attaches with a QD sling swivel. (It does NOT.) Info in body of description says quick release buckle so you don't have to remove it over your head. (If so, it's not evident.) OP will take it back, but since <$50, the shipping isn't free...therefore at this price level, will just order a qd swivel to attach the clip to. The quality is good, information not not correct. Attaches to weapon with a spring loaded clip. Buckle loosens easy to give maximum extension, but does NOT UN-buckle.

The Maxim CQB brace bundle is everything one would expect-quality, great fit/finish/function-BUT, if you are building a 300 blackout pistol with a carbine length gas system, the recoil spring is too strong, and your gun will not cycle. An inquiry to Maxim revealed that they do not have a alternative (softer) spring available, unless you go with the silent capture system. Most web discussions about gas systems encourage a pistol length system for proper functioning...they are correct.
