This is my second one. I have had the first one mounted for just about a year with zero problems. The dot is nice and crisp. I use the auto mode on the small dot and never tun the optic off. Both are set this way with no issues.

Gas block seems well made, it has set screws set at .400 on center with black anodized finish. This was used on a 308 barrel with a .750 barrel. This product does come with a roll pin. The gas tube that comes with the package seem nice and was easy to align and insert into the block.

I like the Serpa line of holsters. I like a OWB holster with some kind of physical lock. This holster comes with the paddle attachment as well as the belt attachment. This is a really nice feature for the money. My one complaint with this holster design is that you have to use your trigger finger to unlock the weapon. I much prefer a thumb style brake like a safari land. This, however, doesn't take away for the holster, its something to just consider. The holster fit and finish is top notch and does its job a designed.

I really like these sights for ccw along with anyone who picks up one of my pistols. I also have them on my G30s. I have used them on my xds for 3 different range trips now. My par times have reduced by .5 on just about every drill over the factory sights. This is solely because I can pick the sights up faster. The front dot is nice, large and very bright. The rear sight doesn't have the white circles around the tritium and I don't really notice the green dots. It doesn't distract me from the front sight. This was a major factor for me when I was shopping for night sights. I wanted a 3 dot night sight but didn't want a rear sight that could distract me. A 3 dot sight is important to me because at night its hard to tell if you have your weapon level if you just have a front night sight. The tritium is very bright at night just like any quality tritium sight. The front sight reminds me of a fiber optic front sight due to it being high viz. When transitioning between targets I don't loose the front sight when snapping my eyes allowing me to run the pistol and keep cadence. Above all! When getting off the X I have noticed that the front sight grabs your eyes no matter how I have my body turned nor strong or weak handed. I paid $26 to have these sight installed on my XDS by xd-man. I normal do this work myself but I hate pushing XD sights! I believe Springfield puts them in with Thor's hammer!
