Good quality, well made

Written on Jul 30, 2024

The quality exceeded my expectations. I plan to use it as the core of my range equipment. Plenty of room.

SFP for then for me

Written on Jul 19, 2024

Decent clarity, good eye box. Comes with a mount. I had previously bought a FFP Tango-MSR, but found It lacking. Probably just me and my use case. The SFP really hit the needed function.

Good sound reduction but too many cons

Written on Jul 16, 2024

Comfortable. Big and bulky. Hard to install batteries. Says 4 batteries included, but only two delivered. Function is fine for handgun shooting. Cannot get a cheek weld with rifle.

Decent bag

Written on May 23, 2024

Appears to be well made, but only time will tell. The shoulder strap is stout. It seems to have enough space. I would have liked it to have been bigger (say 2x2x2) but iit's a good start. Solid bag, recommend.

Surprisingly effective and easy to install and remove

Written on May 19, 2024

This rail panel has a flip-up lever that retracts one end of the locking nubs when pulled up. There is a hinge on one end for this lever. Flip up to install or remove, flip down (the lever locks in placed snugly) and the panel is locked. These panels have a very grippy tactile feel that can aid in hand placement. Maybe this is a common design feature, idk. I am happy with this purchase.

A decent starter LPVO

Written on May 18, 2024

This LPVO is going on a new Gisele build. The build is not complete, so actual performance under stress is not possible yet. BUT, I can speak to the glass, the included mount, and the eye box. Glass appears to be decent (as compared to a nice Kahles 328i scope) but not as good. There is a solid bang for the buck value with the Tango-MSR. I consider the 10x setting not very useful, say up to 6x is useful. The 1x is usable although I would have preferred an SFP rather than the FFP. As a very nice starter, I recommend this scope. A good value.

Looks very promising so far

Written on Apr 26, 2024

I received this promptly from Optics Planet. I have not shot this yet so this is all subjective observation. It is a very solidly built, well finished upper. It was a little more 'golden' in hue than I had expected. Not a negative. Well packaged. It came with a three wire braided spring and an H1 buffer. The spring was what I would have used if none came with it. The upper was well-oiled with some light viscosity oil. The charging handle looks decent. Until I actually shoot it, not much else to say but if there are any faults when I do shoot it I will make another post. That said, 9-Hole Reviews really seemed to like it.
