600x shots .308 with heavy night/day scope, still goin strong.:)
3 shot groups at 100m within 1cm.
Still recommend lock tight. As a gunsmith I always do.
The fitting is easy min stress min tools.
With standard scopes this will give you not only the ajustment mentioned but, room to add lights to the side rether than mounting off the scope.

Expand you rifle to cover multi missions.

Strong, clean, flexible.
I fitted a DAY/NIGHT Scope, Back up side sights, and Laser(Green)snap sight on my 308 rifle.
All fitted well and compact.
With this system, I now have a snap(close range), and long range(800m+)system for day or night in the same rifle.
Note: Weapons Base Rail needs to be (lock tight) tighten as this becomes the weak link. Lock tight it all.
