Most Helpful Positive Review A great peice of kit
I live in Montana where everything there is to do, is done outside. I use this while running trails, long hikes, rock climbing, and doing outdoor work. this is way better than a water bottle and it leaves water tasting good even after sitting in there for several days. It's easy to fill and pockets are great for energy bars, knives, lighters, and keys. only down side to this is it doesn't have back ventilation so when it's hot or your working hard it can build up rather fast, but it's definitely worth staying hydrated. Pros: Durable, easy to run with, pockets for small gear, low profile. Cons:...

Good Product But would not buy from Optics Planet

by Legacy Reviewer, from IL, United States Written on February 13, 2012
I purchased this product because I need one ASAP, so based on Optics Location and where I lived I purchased assuming I would receive within a week. I had to contact them 3 days later because I had no order confirmation and they said that they had to order from the manufacture. 12 days later I received it and could tell it did not come from the manufacturer. It was missing the Molle Attachements. When I contacted them they said I had to return the item. I returned the product (at my expense) and it has been 13 days since, and I have NOT seen the replacement. Of course I had to e-mail today to find out where it is because the customer service is non-existant!.
So to make a quick purchase HA this has gone over 30days and I have NOT heard when my purchase will arrive!!
Pros: Blackhawk made
Cons: Dealing with Optics Planet

Road Dog

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on August 8, 2011
Have used Camelbaks for years in the Military and out and they work great. The only issue with this one is there is a divider in the bladder so the Camelbak blue plastic drying hanger thingy won't work.
Pros: It's a Camelbak !!!
Cons: Bladder is divided so drying is a little difficult.

Best hydration pack for it price

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on May 11, 2011
The hydration pack have enough storage room for 1 stripped down MRE and a small medical first aid kit. The loop and hook allow for more additional gears to be attach.
Pros: Lightweight, low profile, water resistant material.
Cons: The bladder is not the new antidote bladder so it hard to open and close the cap
Would recommend: Yes
