As advertised. This drop in trigger group, fits without issues and it is a long awaited improvement for my specialized tools.
And yes I am reordering additional 2-stage drop ins. Works perfectly and was easy to install. I have performed many more installations for my fellow sport and target shooter's. CMC is the way to go, other trigger groups were less than desirable, you know the ones that begin with the letter "T", this product is more robust that the "T" drop ins and the craftsmanship was/is exceptional. So far no noticeable issues and the performance level is better that expected. The light pull has added to a more favorable grouping, at distances of 500m +. For the money and design, this is the product worth the expense.
All necessary additional assembly parts and tools that are included in the packaging and is superior to other trigger groups. Form, Fit and Function are all pleasing and presents a professionally designed addition.

If you are building a standard AR/M4 with a lower manufactured after 2009. You need to order the small pin. Colt lowers before 2009 use large pin. Be sure you check the production year of your lower before ordering. I seen other comments that the trigger is loose. This is because they ordered the wrong trigger with the large pins because that's is for lowers with the larger pin holes. The standard AR/M4 hole is .154 which is small pin. Just a warning when ordering. Also if you are buying a 2 stage trigger you should know that if you're not building a duty rifle you don't need a trigger like this. An enhanced trigger is all you need for normal sporting use. The two stage trigger has two pulls. The first pull length breaks as a warning before you keep pulling to fire. This is helpful for landing precise shots and fire control. If you want to spend the money it's fine. But it's not necessary. It's a very good trigger though

I installed this in my geiselle lower with the supplied pins and the body/frame of the drop-in was very loose. The pins are smaller than the holes in the drop-in which resulted in it floating around in my lower. This is a design issue as CMC does not utilize any tensioning screws to keep it in place. Also the body is stamped steel... The price for a CMC is way too much for product that is cheaply made and lacks common features.

I put the 2 stage 2lb./2lb. in my BCM 16" Mk2 middy build and have been impressed ringing steel at 830 yards as well as shooting steel standing at 50-75 yards with great feel and ability for rapid follow up shots. The fixed boot at the bottom is great, especially while wearing gloves to help ensure the same finger placement for each shot. That is HUGE and that is repeatability you can depend on. No adjustable "boot" or "shoe" here like some of my other competition triggers.
As a former SOF guy myself, this is my #1 rated trigger. PERIOD.
I'm buying another of these to replace the Geiselle SD3G trigger that came standard on my DDM4V11Pro. I've had problems with unintentional double taps with that trigger and some feeding/ejecting issues as well that i blame on that trigger.
The Geissele SSA-E is awesome as is their Super SCAR trigger... and i do love Hyperfire triggers too.... but again... my favorite, best all around trigger that i could and would trust in combat would be the flat, CMC 2 stage 2lb/2lb trigger.
Pros:
- Does everything at the highest level of performance.

I decided to go with CMC over Geissele because I wanted to try out the flat trigger, which works well for precision shots. The ledge on the bottom digs into your finger pad giving you an exceptional feel. It has a very light, clean consistent break. I had to do some more mill work to get it to fit into my AR-10 lower but that's the joy of 80%, I guess. What really sets it apart is the steel housing imo. Looks and feels indestructible. Seems like these would be a good choice for a polymer lower. There's nothing special about the anti-walk pins but they're included and give the lower a clean look. Very pleased. Plus OP threw in a free ball cap.

Great trigger. Unfortunately I got one that was in the wrong package so am returning it. Maybe next time Large pin Colt receivers range in hole size and mine is tight with 0.171” pins. It wouldn’t allow the 0.172” pins supplied and the trigger wouldn’t either so the installation was a no go

Purchased this to replace a stock trigger. I like 2 stage triggers and this one has a 2 stage trigger.
After the first stage is set it takes little pressure for the trigger to break clean. If your not careful you can pull straight through the first and 2nd stage.

Smooth first stage with a crisp second stage break. Clean and easy install using pins with screws on both ends. Much better then the dimpled pins that came with gun. After several hundreds of rounds the trigger is still crisp with no creep.
