I used this in a SilencerCo and H&R M16A2 lower receiver. The parts are sorted into bags, like springs, push pins, trigger guard and so on, so watch a video if you’re not familiar with each component. I was expecting a flat trigger guard like other budget kits, but got a nice thick, angled, glove style. Impressive for the price. Everything fit well, but the trigger guard roll pin was tight in my blemished H&R. Maybe H&R’s fault. Got it in with roll pin punches. (I didn’t need the mag catch or trigger guard on the SilencerCo lower receiver, but did use the mag catch roll pin.) It comes with a safety selector and I put an old CMC single stage 3.5 pound trigger in the SiCo and it pairs well.

Overall, the kit was poor quality. The only good part is it was cheaper than others. Since this wasn't for me and the person who's lower it was going on did not care as price was the determining factor it works. The pins were the wrong size. had to use my own bolt catch pin from my spare parts. Everything else just felt cheap. The trigger guard looked and felt cheap. The stock military trigger guard looks and feels higher quality. Stay away from this kit for any serious build

This kit was well put together and i already have a love affair with their drop in triggers and this build kit did not disappoint I strongly recommend it for the quality of the machine work at this price point you cant beat it.Pair this kit up with a 3lb CMC trigger and your lower build will be all that you want it to beAnd as always ordering from Optics was a great experience.
Pros:
- Good Quality well made
- good price
Cons:
- None especially at price point

I’ve bought this lower parts kit before and have had no problems. The parts are to spec and work appropriately. They dont have any sort of non-standard finish or extra polishing, and they come loose in a plastic bag. Other more expensive kits have each individual part sealed separately and labeled (or have different coatings that are largely just for looks and not functionality). The lack of labeling may make a difference to you if it is your first build or you are unfamiliar with the different parts that make up a lower parts kit. Either way, there are plenty of other resources out there help you assemble a stripped lower, small parts labeled or not. For the price and overall serviceable quality, you should have no concerns about buying this product.

Can’t beat it for the price! It simply works on a Mil-Spec lower. If you’re using an Anderson I can see where it may be difficult as lower quality lowers may differ.
