Love this Light Guard. Didn't want a laser, as this is used primarily for home defense at night. Installation was a breeze, and activation is very natural. I like how it only comes on when I grip the gun, not automatically when it is pulled from its holster like some other brands. The light is also much brighter than the other brands. High quality, I'll stick with Crimson Trace!

I accidentally ordered this in a rush thinking I was ordering a laser. But when I attached lightguard into my 23, i didn't regret it and I like it. Now I still can attach a guide rod laser and have both.

The first one I received had a defective pressure switch but Optics Planet paid for return shipping and another was promptly sent out. That's why I buy from them, great service. The next one worked perfectly. The fit on my Glock 19 series 3 is perfect. It doesn't stick out beyond the end of the barrel like the other weaponlights do. The beam pattern is perfect for in an enclosed area like a home, not a hot spot, but rather an evenly dispersed illumination. Easy to cover a room from corner to corner clearing it. Other more powerful lights are too hot for indoor work compared to the 100 lumen beam of the Crimson Trace. The run time is long for this bright of a light. Outdoors it is effective for about 40 to 50 yds. easily identifying targets. Combined with night sights it is the ticket for things that go bump in the night. What I like is that the on/off switch is a little hard to use but won't be switched accidentally during use. Mr Gunsngear has a great review on this light and shows it's use at night. Check it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZlDYH4Hnpw I've also seen this work on series 2 Glocks also. The way it clamps onto the trigger guard is solid. Crazy bright light, compact and works with concealment holsters, and affordable. Buy yours now.

Bought this for my son's birthday. He uses it on his Gen 3 Glock 19 when we hog hunt at night for defensive firepower on wounded hogs.
Also does a good job spotting rattlesnakes during walk in/out at night.
He is pleased and that is all that matters for a fussy guy....

This light is a bright and intuitive to use with activation by the middle finger with a normal firing grip. However it is not covered by Crimson Trace's free batteries for life.
If you need a holster check out http://www.gunbroker.com/All/BI.aspx?IncludeSellers=2225623 SAWWorks
Pros:
- quick access
- Holster
- Intuitive
Best Used for:
- concealment platform
- Consealed Carry

Excellent product, fits like factory, simple to install, bright light, finger fits right on the button when you take your grip and work great with Crimson Trace Laser Grips. I would suggest to Crimson Trace to make there products with rough texture to avoid slippage when palms perspire.

Have this light on my glock 19 4th gen. Absolutely love the light and would highly recommend attaching it if you own a glock, the middle finger mechanism is great for controlling the burst of light and how long you want the light to shine, all without changing your preparedness to fire. The look of it once its attached is great as well, if you took away the CT logo you would assume it came like that straight out of the factory.
The only "complaint" I have is that the extra pressure you exert with your middle finger when you turn it on DOES alter your grip to a small degree, and at the range i have found that it makes my shots go 1-2 inches lower and to the left (from 15 yards out). Other than that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the light.

Bought this light for a Glock 23 concealed carry. It will also fit my Glock 17 and many other Glock models. The fit is PERFECT and the switch is in the ideal position. I haven't used the light at night yet but it seems VERY bright. If you look into it (before you install on pistol!) and tap the button to turn it on you will be seeing spots for a few minutes. This alone makes it good for defense. Crimson Trace is advertising free batteries for life on their website but that offer is not valid on this battery size. Now I'm searching for the perfect IWB holster. BTW, I replaced the front sight with a Dawson Precision fiber optic sight. Nice.

Looks great, fits great, easy to install BUT very uncomfortable and impacts the angle of your hand around the grip. Find it difficult to turn on, you have to squeeze very unnatural. Might work better with a rear mounted laser grip to put hand back in alignment
Pros: Great concept
Cons: Changes grip in a bad way
