I already had lasers on my other 2 handguns and 2 long guns so wanted to get one for my LSI Citadel 1911 compact Officer .45acp. I prefer Crimson Trace laser sights so chose the Crimson Trace Master Series Red Laser Sight Grip for 1911 Compact Handguns w/ Green Finish. I liked the original wood grip color but it would cost more for the laser grip so chose the green finish. Now that it is on my gun I like it even better than the original wood grips. The grip fit perfectly, even over the finger grip I had added before purchase. So now I have the new laser grip and still have the additional finger grip below the trigger guard. The laser sight was factory sighted very close, so took only the slightest adjustment to put the laser beam right on target. An additional feature of the grip is the Master Switch which allows me to switch the laser on and off an the grip. When wearing my 1911 in my shoulder holster t-shirt that feature prevents the laser from being on all of the time when the button below the trigger guard makes contact with the holster. Great feature. My only con is that Crimson Trace Laser Grips are priced a little high, when compared to the cost of the gun you are putting it on. But over all, it is a great grip, and good buy.
