This is by far the best comp I've ever owned. I know what you're saying, but Carl, it's over $200! Ok, the price is a little rough but you get what you pay for and you'll be thanking me when you're on round 20 of 30 and still hitting the target with ease. The night I installed it (over my Dead Air Key Mount Flash Suppressor, of course) I took it out and tested it. *Clears throat*, yeaaa, like that song says, WEAR YOUR SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT! You and anyone within 20 feet will be blinded; but hey, it's called the Pyro for a reason. It focuses on muzzle comp rather than flash suppression. It does one thing and one thing really well. In the daylight the flash is tolerable so don't think it will melt your retinas all the time; but it throws enough flame to start a small campfire...so don't use this near things like dynamite/gasoline/black powder/nitroglycerin etc. Ok, that's a bit dramatic but you get my point. The QD aspect of this is great. I purchased the Dead Air Key Mount flash suppressor simultaneously (which is designed to QD w/ this). The QD operation is quick and easy and very solid. The two devices together out of the box will rattle when put together OFF the firearm, don't let this fool you. Once installed on the end of the barrel, the two mate very solidly with no rattle.
