I have both Desantis short rifle scabbard and the matching revolver holster
Great quality fits a 12g Shockwave perfect the split at the top accommodates the Lazer mounted to scope mount. The shockwave doesn't have a hammer that the hold down strap is supposed to secure it with. If they made it where it would be adjustable so it could be strapped tight around the grip but it's basically useless because it allows the Shockwave to come out freely until the Lazer catches the strap. I also bought the matching revolver holster for a .45LC 71/4" barrel the strap on this fits the hammer perfectly tight and this holster is not only ambidextrous but it has two different angles for a belt. It can be vertical for side hip and it can be at a 45 degree for a front cross draw that makes it comfortable to sit get in and out of a car or getting on and off a motorcycle because the barrel is almost inline with the belt and the grip is almost centered of the body.
Pros:
- Very tough versatile and if it's a little too long for your barrel it's easy to cut off to the end of the barrel because it's open ended
Cons:
- The hold down strap is useless with the 12g shockwave
